How to Fish is built as a co-op game: bosses are easier with more guns, teammates can revive each other instead of dying outright, and the chaos scales with the crew. The current player limit is eight — official Patch 1.0.4 added support for up to 8 player lobbies, and Patch 1.0.5 added private invite-only lobbies, even though the Steam store description still says 1-4.
